What it does

Two-way file transfer

Share files from a computer and receive uploads through a browser on another device.

Seekable media streams

HTTP range requests allow video playback and seeking without downloading an entire file first.

Zero runtime dependencies

The published package uses standard Node.js modules for its server, filesystem, and network handling.

The engineering challenge

Building file transfer and media streaming directly on Node.js primitives. Handling byte ranges and stream I/O made the relationship between HTTP and the filesystem tangible.

What I’d build next

Improve the transfer experience and continue refining the cross-platform CLI workflow.
